Founder's Journey
- Involvement, Inc. founder Michael Mills, like many others, began reevaluating his professional purpose coming out of the COVID-era disruptions. His search for meaning led to an exploration of how people live with passion and purpose, culminating in the Walk On podcast, where he interviews guests about their own journeys to purpose and fulfillment. A chance conversation about executive coaching and a compliment on his business insights ultimately led Michael back to school, where he earned his Executive Leadership and Performance Coach Certification from Brown University. Through this journey, Michael found clarity: he thrives on helping leaders communicate effectively, both internally and externally, to create lasting impact. But he also realized that the fast pace and grind of building a large agency would limit his ability to be personally invested in each client’s success. Involvement Inc. was born as a vehicle for working closely with a select number of organizations, offering strategy, tailored services, and hands-on leadership that drive meaningful transformation without the red tape and overhead of traditional consultancies.
